Bullet Journal : 30-day review and tips

Reblogging this article to give inspiration to help my readers be more organized in 2019 (good resolutions for many of you I am sure)

About a month ago (see review of April 2018), one of my friend showed me her bullet journal. I had heard of them and had seen a few ads on Facebook but I had never seen one in real life. She told me that she started hers because she was always doing 100 things at the same time and was doing a bad job of keeping track, thus becoming notoriously unreliable.

That sounded just like me ! So I thought I’d give it a go and try it out for at least a whole month. Here is my experience after 30 days of “bullet journaling” !

Having it all ? Or screwing it all ?

Because it is still relevant…

Being a working mum, there are days when I feel I am kicking ass. Days where everything goes to plan : the kids both slept through the night, I made it to the office before 8am, my boss is in a good mood, my team is motivated, my presentation to the Board is met with approval and smiles, my husband tells me I look pretty and I just signed a big contract that will really boost the P in my P&L.

Tips and stories from a career-mum

Welcome to Powernappy !

No, we are not a super brand of diapers but a parenting blog that provides tips and stories from my daily experiences (or should I say struggles haha) as a working mum.

I am F, and I have 2 daughters : Toddler “Apple” who is 2 and Baby “Peanut” who is 4 months. I am happily married to a wonderful man and we are raising our family in the South West of the UK.

I work full-time as a Marketing Director for a large company. My career is a big part of who I am. So ever since I became a Mum, I have done my best to try and be a good mother to my girls, a decent wife to my husband and continue to learn and progress at work. I fail more often than I succeed but I do my absolute best.

Along my life, I was fortunate to encounter a lot of strong men and women, who have been role models for me. I started this blog to be able to keep memories of my life as a young Mum but also to try and give back a little by sharing my experiences and tips.

Also, I can’t wait to hear all about you so don’t hesitate to leave comments and to add your own tips and stories !
